GEDA and DPHSS Division of Children’s Wellness Launch 2024 Early Childhood Workforce Retention Grant
Up to $5,000.00 in Grant Funding for Eligible Applicants
The Guam Economic Development Authority and the Department of Public Health and Social Services Division of Children’s Wellness are pleased to announce the launch of the 2024 Early Childhood Workforce Retention Grant. This grant will support the Early Childhood Workforce.
The 2024 Early Childhood Workforce Retention Grant supports the individuals who work directly with children, including Child Care Center Directors, Child Care Center Assistant Directors, Lead and Assistant Child Care Providers, HeadStart Program Teachers, Early Childhood Special Education Teachers, Pre-Kinder Teachers, Pre-GATE Teachers, Aides, Teachers’ Aides/Assistants, Caregivers, Kitchen Staffs (Child Care Development Fund Licensed Child Care Centers Only), Kindergarten Teachers (Public/Private Schools), Guam Early Intervention Services Staff, Department of Defense Education Activity Special Education Teachers, Kindergarten Teachers, and Pre-Kinder Teachers.
The Grant Awards are as follows:
Six months to one year and elven months June 5, 2022 – December 4, 2023 | $1,000 |
Two years to three years and eleven months June 5, 2020 – June 4, 2022 | $2,500 |
Four years or more June 4, 2020 or Prior | $5,000 |
Application and eligibility information are available at investguam.com. The application period opens June 4 and closes July 5, 2024 at 5 p.m. Completed applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis and will be subject to the availability of funds.
