Participation in the Export  Readiness Training and submission of Export Plan required for consideration.

GEDA hosted its inaugural Håfa Adai Guam Festival in Japan showcasing seven local companies and their Made in Guam products to the Japan market. Held on September 5, 2026 at the Izu Gateway Kannami in Shizuoka, the festival introduced Guam’s unique flavors and provided participating Guam companies an opportunity to sell directly to Japanese consumers for the first time. The festival drew thousands of people who enjoyed Guam-based products and cultural performances from both Guam and Japan. Pictured here with festival attendees.
The Håfa Adai Guam Festival Press Conference & Taste of Guam brought together government officials, representatives from Shizuoka University, media members, local business owners, and influencers to celebrate and promote Guam’s culture, cuisine, and Made in Guam products.
In partnership with the Western United States Agricultural Trade Association (WUSATA) and the Guam Hotel & Restaurant Association's Pacific Hotel & Restaurant Expo (PHARE), Guam Product Seal holders showcased their Made in Guam products. The mission included site visits to manufacturing facilities, B2B meetings with the buyers, chef competitions, chef demos using Made in Guam products, and much more.
Qualified buyers from Japan met with Governor Lourdes A. Leon Guerrero, Mary Rhodes, President of the Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association, Ken Yanagisawa, President and CEO of P.H.R. Ken Micronesia, Sophia Chu Wigsten, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Guam, WUSATA, and GEDA. They also engaged with local small businesses to secure potential retail and wholesale distribution agreements.
The Guam delegation, including Asiga, Local Jerk Guam, The Coconut Tree Company, and the Green Turtle Coffee showcased their Made in Guam products at the Food Taipei Mega Show 2026. As Asia’s most influential food industry platform, the event featured five concurrent expos: Food Taipei, FoodTech Taipei, Taipei Pack, and Bio/Phamatech Taiwan. With 1,800 exhibitors and over 45,000 attendees including buyers, importers, and other industry professionals
