Individuals and firms who are interested in engaging in business in Guam must obtain a business license prior to starting their business operations. Most licensing transactions can be processed and approved at a single location, the Government of Guam’s ONE STOP LICENSING CENTER located at 542 N. Marine Drive, Tamuning, Guam 96913, Telephone No. (671) 646-3259 or Facsimile No. (671) 649-6178. Hours of operation for the center are from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, except legal holidays.

  • Governor signs Guam Regional Medical City QC
    News Date: 09-January-2015 “This is a landmark event. The opening of the Guam Regional Medical City expands our healthcare system on island. We will have additional beds for our people, and specialty care will be available to Guamanians right here at home. It also brings hundreds of jobs for our people and I’d like to thank everyone who had a hand in making this possible.”

  • Bill That Encourages Economic Growth Signed Into Law
    News Date: 05-January-2015

    At a time when our island is enjoying stable growth and anticipating more growth, Gov. Eddie Baza Calvo signed into law Bill 416-32.
     
    Introduced by Sen. Dennis Rodriguez, Bill 416-32 provides for special tax incentives specific to hotels as part of the Guam Economic Development Agency’s Qualifying Certificate program. These incentives aim to spur construction of an additional 1,600 hotel rooms, as well as allow for the improvement and expansion of existing rooms.

    The Guam Economic Development Authority (GEDA) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) 15-003 for Program Management Services for the Imagine Guam Program to direct the overlay, merger, amendment, planning, programming, sequencing, implementation, and controls of all existing master plans within the Government of Guam. The service will also provide consulting and direction to the Imagine Guam steering committee and policy team, in the collection of data, and the development of the Imagine Guam Program.
